Elements and Performance Criteria

1. Facilitate repairs
   • Hazardous situations, unserviceability and defects are rectified in accordance with workplace procedures and regulatory requirements with minimal disruption to aircraft operations
   • Relevant authorities and organisations are notified of works that may disrupt aircraft operations in accordance with workplace procedures and regulatory requirements
   • Temporary markers, markings and/or temporary aerodrome lighting are deployed, as required, to facilitate repairs
2. Inspect aerodrome serviceability
   • Access to aerodrome is arranged with appropriate authorities
3. Aerodrome is inspected for hazards and serviceability
4. Situations resulting in unserviceability of aerodrome are identified in accordance with workplace procedures
5. Hazardous situations or unserviceability are rectified or made safe, as required, in accordance with workplace procedures and regulatory requirements
6. Report unserviceableandhazardous situations
   • Requirements for official notification of hazardous situations, unserviceability and defects are assessed
7. Relevant authorities or organisations are notified of hazardous situations, unserviceability and defects in accordance with workplace procedures and regulatory requirements
8. Hazard reports and documentation are completed, filed and disseminated in accordance with workplace procedures
   • Hazardous situations, unserviceability and defects are rectified in accordance with workplace procedures and regulatory requirements with minimal disruption to aircraft operations
9. Relevant authorities and organisations are notified of works that may disrupt aircraft operations in accordance with workplace procedures and regulatory requirements
10. Temporary markers, markings and/or temporary aerodrome lighting are deployed, as required, to facilitate repairs
11. Report restoration of aerodrome serviceability
    • Restoration of aerodrome serviceability is confirmed in accordance with workplace procedures and regulatory requirements
12. Temporary markers, markings and/or temporary aerodrome lighting used to facilitate repairs are removed
13. Relevant authorities are notified of restoration of aerodrome serviceability in accordance with workplace procedures and regulatory requirements
